A stairlift service involves a complete safety  inspection of the stairlift including; the seat (upholstery, swivel mechanism, folding arms, arm switches, wiring), carriage (motor, brake, batteries, ac/dc power, rollers, power PCB, O/S governor), track (condition,teeth, chain/rack, clamps, chain brake), electrical (power boards, top track PCB, under track PCB, wiring condition, earthing, final limits top, final limits bottom) footplate (folding spring, sensitive edges, top, down, bottom) and finally a test run.
